Plan ahead. International students need to complete a few additional steps to be considered for admission.
International applicants need an I-20 student visa to attend the Graduate School of Education. Review and make sure you’ve completed every item on the International Student Checklist.
Transcripts from non-US colleges must be reviewed by a private evaluation agency before we can consider international applicants for graduate study. Evaluations include a course-by-course analysis to help us better understand your educational background and academic credentials.
We only accept evaluations from agencies accredited by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, listed at NACES.org.
We recommend that you allow plenty of time between the evaluation and the application deadline, especially if you are currently residing outside of the United States and require a student visa.
When applying for your visa, please use your full, legal name as it appears on your passport, or your application may experience serious delays.
International applicants must have a permanent, international address to receive their visa. All mail from the Office of Graduate Admissions will be sent to your mailing address.
