DOE Ready: Support for Getting Hired in a NYC Department of Education School Thursday, February 8th

The evening will provide prospective NYC Department of Education teachers with first-hand insight into the hiring process and the chance to network with principals from across New York City. This is a unique opportunity for your students to get a jumpstart on their job search and meet potential hiring managers. Since the evening is aimed at supporting prospective teachers in their job search,we strongly advise attendees submit their NYC New Teacher Applicationprior to the event as they will be more marketable to hiring managers present.
The event will be held from 5:30-8:30pm on Thursday, February 8th at Teachers College. Select registrants will also receive an invitation to sign up for a Mock Demonstration Lesson, taking place earlier in the evening. Interested individuals should RSVP here as soon as possible; spots are anticipated to fill up quickly! Please share this invitation with any individuals in your network who are certified or on track towards teacher certification.
