The NYC Department of Education is looking for an experienced project manager to support the After School Professional Development Program (ASPDP). ASPDP is a small but mighty team of six experienced project managers, analysts, and instructional specialists, who lead a program that offers more than 200 professional learning courses over three semesters per year. Product Development and Analytics Consultant

The primary responsibility of the Product Development and Analytics Consultant is to support the day-to-day management of WeTeachNYC (www.weteachnyc.org). WeTeachNYC is an online resource library and professional learning portal developed by the NYC Department of Education for NYC teachers and school leaders. As the NYC schools’ professional learning platform, WeTeachNYC grants NYC’s over 80,000 educators with access to thousands of instructional and professional learning resources that are critical to serving their students’ diverse needs and furthering their own professional learning. Since WeTeachNYC launched in September 2015, over 25,000 NYC educators have logged in to WeTeachNYC to get instructional resources that support their students or engage in professional learning communities, and thousands more have accessed the site publicly. The Product Development and Analytics Manager will work closely with the Product Development Director, Learning Systems and Strategy, to support the team’s analytics planning and implementation of ongoing technical maintenance for WeTeachNYC. The Product Development and Analytics Consultant will have a broad set of analytics and project management skills to coordinate agile release planning, support educators in their use of WeTeachNYC, and build and analyze system data to identify usage trends.
