Job Description

Yeshivat He’Atid school is looking for General Studies Teachers for Grades 1-5, and a Preschool Lead Teacher. The educators will be responsible for inspiring, teaching, assessing, and meeting grade-level benchmarks for all students while maintaining a warm, loving, intellectually stimulating, and challenging classroom environment. Knowledge of how to integrate technology into the classroom is strongly preferred.

General Studies, Grades 1-5

Qualifications

· A Bachelor’s degree is a requirement; a Master’s degree is preferred

· Understands principles of social, emotional and cognitive development

· Uses educational technology to maximize student engagement and to differentiate instruction

· Approaches problem-solving in a positive, creative and encouraging manner

Responsibilities

· Prepares curriculum, lessons, and activities

· Teaches students in a nurturing environment with differentiated learning in small group instruction within a rotational model

· Manages classroom effectively

· Maintains open communication with, parents, and administrators about the students’ progress

· Works collaboratively with the teaching team to plan and facilitate daily activities and special programs

Preschool Lead Teacher

Yeshivat He’Atid is a vibrant growing Modern Orthodox day school in Teaneck, NJ seeking Lead Teachers for their preschool.

Job Description

The Lead Teacher will plan and supervise a warm, nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment while meeting high educational standards. The teacher will design and construct a student-centered classroom that embodies Torah and secular studies throughout the day. The teacher will be a role model for Jewish values and embodies the lessons taught in the classroom. A Master’s Degree is required.
