Deep Equity Now - Recap
This event is the last of a six-part series. The DEEP Equity Now series is about preparing educators to elevate beyond the safe and performative aspect of equity, into the space that Baldwin describes as "go[ing] for broke."
It is here that our work becomes transformative, as we learn how to put it all on the line.
This webinar will take place on April 20, 12:30 pm (PST)/ 3:30 pm (EST).
Dr. Ononuju and Dr. Cobb will recap the Deep Equity series and what has been learned over the 5 sessions. Their discussion will explore the impacts of the various sessions on the CA and NY communities, how we can implement some of the lessons learned into our communities now and what are the next steps moving forward. Ultimately, this discussion will answer whether or not we have a better understanding of Deep Equity and if the series has lived up to its mandate for Equity Now.
