Join us for our Spring 2025 Holmes Scholars Forum!

This Holmes Scholars Forum, Operationalizing the Promise of Education for All, focuses on the importance of storytelling in educator preparation and how we operationalize teaching and learning in such a way that it is accessible and creates opportunities for every student.

The discussion will emphasize why storytelling is important, and how to create compelling narratives that are effective across the spectrum of opinions on education. There will also be concrete examples of what it means to “operationalize” high quality teaching and learning.

This session will benefit candidates who are pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree. Faculty and staff who interact with candidates and students on the graduate and undergraduate levels should also attend this forum.

Presenter: Dr. Shari Baker
