Join us in this two-part workshop to learn how Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) devices can help teachers reach non-verbal students.

Professor Stephanie George states, "Every student has a voice and a choice, and yes, this applies to non-verbal students too."

During the session, you will be given the opportunity to test your knowledge of the different types of AAC devices and determine where they can be used. You will leave this workshop well-informed and ready to apply communication supports and strategies to invite every learner to the instructional table and engage them in discourse using their preferred mode of communication.
