Three Graduate School of Education Students Receive Deans’ Scholarship
Female GSE Educators Receive Touro Scholarship for Impacting Schools, Communities, and Enhancing Educational Equity
Human rights activist Malcolm X once said, “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” As the Graduate School of Education (GSE), a division of Touro University, continues to prepare educators to make a lasting difference in the lives of their students, the school awarded three students including Danielle Reverri, Jacqueline Cerone, and Tiffany Oliver the Deans’ Scholarship for the positive impact they have made in their school or community beyond a single classroom. These students have helped to enhance educational equity and access to vital learning opportunities for at-risk students from underserved communities and more.
We recently caught up with these three standout grad students and educators to find out more about why they’re passionate about the field of education and how they’re creating an inclusive learning environment extending beyond their classroom walls.
