If it works for your students‐let it work for us, at our first Touro College Faculty Learning Exchange Conference!
Touro College’s core competency is learning and teaching and you are the experts. The TCUS Faculty Learning Exchange Conference Planning Committee seeks proposals from faculty (from all TCUS schools) who will demonstrate, with groups of fellow instructors, interactive learning strategies that you have found effective with your students.
Submit a one‐page proposal for an interactive session in which you will demonstrate a practical strategy, tip, or tool for actively engaging students and helping them connect toyour learning points.
Proposals must include:
- your Touro affiliation and contact information;
- a 2‐sentence summary of the strategy/tip/tool you will be demonstrating with faculty participants;
- a time‐sequenced outline of what you would do to engage fellow professors in experiencing/ practicing/ discussing your learning strategy. (We are not specifying a required time limit. The Planning Committee will organize the Conference Schedule in a way that will accommodate sessions of varying lengths.)
