Dr. Thomas Troisi is an assistant professor in Touro University's School Leadership program. He has extensive P-12 school leadership experience and has served as an assistant principal, building principal, and assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction on Long Island. Dr. Troisi began his career in education as a teacher of social studies both in New York City and on Long Island. He received his Ed.D. in Educational Administration and Policy Studies from Hofstra University. A prolific writer, his articles concerning school leadership and technology have appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as the Teachers College Record and the School Administrator. His academic interests include critical theory, instructional technology, and culturally-responsive school leadership.
